Day 32

Good Morning Everyone! This is a special post :) I think I may have a little problem. My husband always says I hoard picture frames and glass jars...something about them I just love. And today while I was looking over all of these pictures I realized I think I may even hoard old furniture. Is this a problem??? Or is this just adding good quality furniture to your own collection?

My mom gave me this old pub table that used to be in her house. I remember as a girl eating cereal on it and spilling the milk all over it soon to realize it had spilled down the crack into the drawer. So immediately when I brought it home I opened that old wooden drawer up to see if the milk was still in it...nope nada.

I ended up sanded the top layer off of it and putting Annie Sloan wax on it. Now it looks super amazing as a desk in our living room!!

Day 31

I feel like sometimes I don't have enough pictures of Stella. I kind of go through waves of taking lots of pictures of each of my kids. Stella is much easier to do lifestyle pictures and Lyla is really fun to do more artistic pictures with. The ones of Stella below are of her eating some breakfast while snot, boogies, drool and tears run down her face. FYI she is not crying she just has little tears roll down her face lately while she's been sick :(. Also the last few pictures are of the girls in the shower. Rob and I were getting the biggest hoot out of watching them smush(don't know if this is spelled correctly) their faces on the glass of the shower.

Yes this is what breakfast in bed looks like...feet on the tray instead of under.

Day 30

Just in time for Valentines Day coming up! Look at this magnificent dresser that my mom gave me :) A little back story behind it is that my parents are down sizing so they gave me this. I kind of have this little love/hate relationship with it. So back in the day when my mom used to give us chores this was one of them. It was the solid light pink and she decided she wanted to strip it and just have the wood face. So when chore day rolled around one of the chores was stripping this thing with a putty knife and some sort of stripping chemical (couldn't have been safe!) And now look at it, I think it is so beautiful just the way it is...half finished. Oh and since my birthday falls in february...maybe Valentines day :) We love decorating with pinks in this house and who would have thought this little pink thing would fit in with our theme.

Day 29

What little girl doesn't like dress up?? Well let me tell you this girl LOVES it! We went through our costumes and put on our best attire..even though I some how managed not to take any full body pictures of our masterpieces haha And then we put on our most special princess lipstick that only comes out during special occasions and never stays on our lips when we leave the house (makes it more special).
